INdustry Hair and Esthetics opened its doors in 2016 after Award-winning Stylists David and Marilyn decided to venture out on their own and created an environment where everyone felt like they were “home”. They had a vision to mentor and establish a team that was like minded and as hungry as they were. All employees are graduating students of Marilyn from the Cosmetology program at the Niagara College where she taught and mentored. In just a short time, the whole team has been involved in competitions world wide. From provincial to international competitions, they have worked hard together to put INdustry Hair on the map!

Competing gives us the opportunity to work with the best of the best worldwide, pushes us out of our comfort zone, keeps us on our toes with the latest trends, and helps us build teamwork. The result of this effort and drive has placed INdustry Hair on the leading edge of Canadian Hairstyling and made us the most award winning salon in the Niagara Region.

David and Marilyn are also proud members of GOLDWELL National artistic Education Team!

Meet Our Award-Winning Hair Stylists

David

As one of only 16 people (2014) worldwide to receive Goldwell Colour Masters Status, David has won many competitions in Ontario, Canada and internationally for women’s styling, David’s most recent accomplishments include an amazing performance at the 2021 Contessa Awards, where he finished as Finalist for Master Colourist of the Year. His other recent awards include:

Marilyn

Marilyn is an award-winning hairstylist in both provincial and national competitions, winning awards for women’s hair cutting, styling and colour, as well as men’s hair cutting, and bridal up-dos. Marilyn is also an educator at Niagara College, teaching cosmetology to the upcoming generation of stylists. She most recently took home the Gold in 2019's Goldwell Colorzoom Challenge where she then represented Canada in Vienna, Austria placing 7th in the World. Her other recent awards include:
